Pinot Blanc
The 2023 estate pinot blanc was sourced exclusively from transitional sandy loam to silty clay soils at Kirby Vineyard in Niagara-On-The-Lake, and hand picked from 27-year old vines on October 12. The berries were fermented and aged in new and neutral French barrels for 9 months using wild yeasts before filtering and bottling in July of 2024 at 13% abv. The finished wine has tropical, citrus and saline notes.

(93 points - R. VanSickle) The inviting nose shows stony/saline minerality, white peach, pear, lanolin, citrus and light spice notes. It has gorgeous texture and concentration on the palate with stone fruits, a touch of flint and rousing saline, lemon tart, a bit more spice and lifted, finessed and long finish.
The 2023 Estate Pinot Blanc is a delightful match for light, flavourful dishes. Its perfumed citrus and floral nose complements the zesty flavours of fish tacos, while the wine’s lemon and peach notes add a refreshing brightness. For a Cobb salad, the almond and pear undertones enhance the dish's variety of textures and flavours.
